Aquatic Centre Assistant Coordinator
About the role
You will be assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Rockingham Aquatic Centre located on Council Avenue in Rockingham. Duties will include supervising staff and Aquatic Centre patrons, maintaining adequate pool records and preparing reports as required.
About you, in the role
You possess detailed knowledge of aquatic emergency and evacuation procedures, experience with life support equipment and are able to remain calm during stressful situations. You are an excellent communicator and have well developed interpersonal skills. The experience you have as a Pool Operator enables you to understand most functions within an Aquatic facility, including knowledge of appropriate Acts and by-laws.
A current and valid Leisure Institute of Western Australia (LIWA) Accreditation, Pool Lifeguard Certificate and Pool Operators Certificate are required for this role. You are able to obtain an updated First Aid Certificate.
