Senior Graphic Designer (Temporary Contract)

The Opportunity

Deloitte Ireland is now recruiting for an experienced, self-motivated senior graphic designer to provide creative, high quality and professional in-house graphic design services within a fast-paced team. This position will be based in the Marketing and Business Development department, reporting to the Design Manager and working alongside two other designers. This opportunity is available on a short term basis for 2-3 months.

Marketing and Business Development department

The Marketing and Business Development department provide professional marketing and client service excellence that clearly distinguish Deloitte from other professional services firms, positioning Deloitte as a thought leader. This department builds and protects the Deloitte brand in the marketplace, develops marketing and business development initiatives that drive strong revenue growth, through cultivating a leading client portfolio and building eminence among key stakeholder groups.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver high quality graphic design services in-house
Design client tenders from typesetting through to design, print and production
Work with clients internally and within industry group and service lines, briefing and advising them regarding brand guidelines, format, use of infographics, print production, timescales and promoting the graphic design service available
Design and development of a wide spectrum of promotional material including invitations, brochures, adverts, posters, signage and other firm print or digital publications
Ad hoc photography requests
Build and protect the brand

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional organisation
Excellent project management, and ability to prioritise workload under pressure
Creativity and fresh contemporary thought is extremely important
Expert knowledge and proficiency in CS6/CC: InDesign; Photoshop; Illustrator
Knowledge in Flash, After Effects, CSS, HTML, Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote would be beneficial
Understand the importance of a brand and brand guidelines, within a large professional organisation
A keen eye for detail and quality
Work well with a team – being motivational, enthusiastic, supportive, and with all our people in the firm
Outstanding communication (both spoken and written)
