Field Service Engineer
Location: Germany (base)
Field Service Engineer – Electrical – Global projects

My client is looking for an automation commissioning engineer with exactly those aspirations. I am looking for someone who is seeking long term stability and who is eager to create a career path right to the top of their engineering career within one of the most reputable companies in the market.
Key responsibilities:
– The roles involves providing field service at our customer sites, onshore and offshore in UK, North Europe and International.
– The job holder provides field engineering for electrical /power systems products and projects including drives, generator excitation, automation and control systems.
– The field engineers can operate from any location in UK and North Europe.
The successful individual must:
– Be able to mobilize to global projects as and when required
– Have 10+ years` experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and servicing MV and HV systems including drives, breakers, switchgear, protection relays, cables, motors, GIS, transformers, and/or generator excitation systems
– You`ll have experience in configuring / commissioning Siemens or Allen Bradley control systems
– Be able to work independently and as part of a team
– Deliver field services fulfilment for our customers in terms of EHS, Quality and Delivery
– Have the ability to communicate sound technical advice
– Live in Europe and be able to work in the EU
– Be educated to degree level
– Field commissioning experience
Desirable experience but not essential:
– If individuals have previously worked with Rolls Royce, Dresser Rand, Siemens, Thommassen, Sulzer Tubo Services, Flowserve, Stork Turbo Services or similar
This position is offering a wonderful financial package for the right individual. The client is offering a base salary of between €60,000 – €90,000 per annum plus benefits and allowances which are to be confirmed at a later stage during the second interview.
